Found this to be successful,by e Z est from a coin shop,dip,& rinse immediately,Note,can be cut with water,if preferred. Take Baking Soda,& make a paste,can use your fingers,or a tooth brush to remove any traces of the dip to prevent the brass from tarnishing,after dipping. Pat dry,& Let air dry. A wheel,& polish will work,but also removes metal.
Have worked with both,dipping,works best.
