Re: wrong investment
Maybe so on ebay but an ounce of silver is less than $12.00 spot on value in todays metal markets. That is why I am here because I have seen others trade strikes for 11, 12, 15, even 18 dollars due to this place being a collector of strikes place. When I said I felt that I was being more than fair is because I see sellers selling lots of 100 going as high as $1500.00 and as low as $1100.00. If I stand corrected at 80 ounces of silver at (about $11.50 an ounce), that would be about $900 which is well less of what all members and guests offer for their strikes of 100. Also Gold is around $800 an ounce so at .60 ounces of silver from strikes would yield about $700.00 which may be less then $800.00 from the gold bar but what you don't get from metal value, you do get from collector's value. I again say that it is more fair then what others offer for their strikes and I only wanted to trade to earn back what little I can of weight metal in return that you can have your collection added.
