That is correct. There is no way to even know if a buyer even completed the DSR's, it is completely hidden by eBay. All you can see is the total score. Some sellers have tried to "guess" what people have left them by checking their DSR's all the time. However, I don't believe eBay updates them in real time. I have checked my DSR's and seen a score, and then checked later in the same day with NO ONE LEAVING ME FEEDBACK, and my DSR's were changed. I often wonder if they are even accurate, they bounce around all over the place. To me, anything eBay does in secret is suspect....

Regarding the seller not leaving feedback until the buyer does, that is an outdated attitude. The second the buyer pays, their part of the transaction is complete. They either paid on time or they didn't. Leave feedback, provide good service, and then it's their turn to judge your performance. What are you holding back for anyway? A seller can't leave negative feedback to a buyer anyway, so you really have no leverage to withhold feedback. All you can really threaten is to NOT leave feedback at all, and who really cares?

Dave B. has a strike collection to rival anyone who posts on this board. He didn't acquire it by screwing over sellers.

Dave.
