Dave, you hit the nail right on the head. Marie and I were in Las Vegas from 12/9 to 12/17 while the Rodeo was going on and we went to Sam's Town and there wasn't one person who played the Strike Machines while we were there. We spent about 4-5 hours at Sam's Town and I sat and played the Strike Machine and the Casino was busy, and both machines were full of Clear caps and Red Caps! The (10) strikes that I won (9) were clear caps and (1) was the Bald Eagle Red Cap and only (2) were .999 Fine Silver, the rest were clad, how dissapointed I was, but I did play the Strike Machine just to see what the ratio of strikes would be on what I won, knowing that there were clad and .999 in the machines, this was a one time trial and done! All of the Casino's were really busy and packed with people who were there to see the Rodeo and you would think that with the amount of people that were there, some would have sat and played the strike machines, but not one that we saw, so I guess that takes care of the average traveler playing the Strike Machine to take home a souvenier from Las Vegas! Oh and by the way, I didn't keep the CLAD Strikes, I did sell them to a fellow collector who was collecting them for a $200, if Sam's ever comes out with one!
