In a situation like this it is the buyer's responsibility to contact the seller to check out the shipping cost prior to bidding. If the seller asks to much shipping then it will only hurt his auctions. I have made mistakes in the past and bid on items without looking for hidden costs. Now I am more careful when bidding.
