I have read that the Taj Mahal majority owners (Donald Trump is not a majority owner anymore)is remodeling the whole Tal Mahal complex including the rooms in the older orginal room tower. As part of upgrading of the entire casino/room complex after adding the new room tower.
MAYBE in the auction this is some of the older things that has been removed and was replaced with something new.
