We just returned from Reno and stayed at Silver Legacy. It is downtown and you can walk to most of the clubs. Also it is a secure hotel where you have to show your card to go up. We have also stayed at El Dorado, it is also o.k. You can always stay at Harrah's, thier hotels are always nice.

P.S. the coin winning was a little tight. Winter I guess.
