I thought you might like to see the 1st samples of my pet project that I have been working on since Seattle Slew died on Derby day last year.
I contacted Slew's owners Mickey & Karen Taylor. They invited me to a Memorial Service for Slew at Hill 'n' Dale farm in Lexington, KY. They were kind enough to give me the rights for chips and SS's. Two weeks ago I obtained the rights to use the name Hill 'n' Dale Farm. There is a statue of Slew over his grave. At this time there is a $200 SS in production depicting the Statue.
The small writing on the Triple Crown SS says "Undefeated" and the name "Best Of The Best" is what Mickey & Karen called their beloved Seattle Slew.
