Dan, the "so called" copper rimed strikes are still solid brass. They were made in the year 2000. What happened was when the actual brass was made it was made just a little differently and the brass ended up looking more like copper than the actual brass. Hence they were nick named copper rims. I believe a New Mexico strike and another from maybe Mississippi ended up as a copper rims. Not sure on the second place.
