First, on behalf of the entire JackpotAuctions.com team, I would like to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous New Year!
Now for the subject question:
We had a meeting this morning on the topic of new ways to help with the building fund. This has been a good year for us, and when we win...the Club wins.
So, here's our idea:
We are leaning towards a flat donation of 25 cents for each auction that closes as "sold" on JackpotAuctions.com. That goes for all categories, including our ClassifiedAds section...possibly extending to our soon to open JackpotStores. The accumulated total should be quite substantial, and with your help and support...it will be even moreso.
Things keep getting better and better at Jackpot, but we would ask that more of the newcomers, and seasoned pros alike consider Jackpot as a venue for your sales and treasure hunts.
Our strike market is very strong, and the chip market has steadily improved. We realize that we need more variety, and we also realize that to do that...we need your help.
This really can work out well for all of us, we have nearly 3000 users, and are getting well over 1 million hits a month. BUT, we can always use more listings...particularly the obsolete chips, of which many of the club members have an excess. We have a very loyal and growing customer base, and our sellers are all well known and honest. Whether you are selling or bidding, you will get your money's worth at Jackpot. Your opinions will be heard...and also listened to. We want your business, and we are willing to work for it...and earn it.
This is not an ad, or a plea...it is a pledge to continue our efforts to be part of the community that supports us, and that we support.
