Watching this auction.
I saw "strikeseeker" had bid several times until outbidding the highest bidder.
You can not convience me that "strikeseeker"
"EBAY QUOTE"
Retracted $345.00
Explanation:Entered wrong bid amount
Entered a wrong bid! This person had made several bids in order to reach the high bid. I think that when a person does this the e-Bay software should not allow a retracted bid and should enter a warning not to the bidder that they are bidding more than once on an item and their bid's cannot be retracted when making a second bid. (Then of course they can make an absurd once bid and retract it. But then again I would think the seller's best action would be to cancel any auction when the current high bidder retracts their bid)
The compromise is that when "strikeseeker" removed their bid and the bid reverted to the next highest bidder the bid amount dropped to $169.60 and letting ALL persons who watched this auction as well as the current and potential bidders KNOW exactly what the current HIGH bidders set top bid is, which was exactly $5.00 under what the new high bid was. $326.99.....
If you know that you will not outbid this buyer why would you want to just drive up this bidder?
I believe that the SELLER did the responsible thing and cancelled the auction.
