I think you misunderstood me on Norm's presale, sorry for not being clear. My point wasn't that there was a current auction on jackpot, my point was that a new Binion's $200 was coming out based on the info in his presale.

If I remember correctly, it was posted a while back that the casinos were turning in their .999 silver strikes to get credit for the new clad strikes. Based on that, I would guess they turned in their .999 strikes and were delayed in getting thier clad strikes which would explain them not having strikes.

I do agree with you that unless I missed it, there was nothing mentioned anywhere about the new Binions $200 release (in the newsletter, on the club web site, on this board) and I would have never known about it until I saw Norm's auctions. Jim's post above in this thread is the first official word I've heard. Like I said though, I could have missed it.
