A further revelation...thanks to Bill for providing the eBay numbers, it looks like the buyer may also be in on this scam. When is the last time you saw a buyer able to purchase a "buy it now" only 6 minutes after it was listed? Most are aware it takes appx. 2 1/2 hours for listings to show up on the eBay pages. Only if you are keyed on to the seller can you get it quicker, and there was no reason for the buyer to have done this with the seller in this case.
It appears some fake sales have been put out in the hopes of drawing in anxious buyers.
