-------------- WOW. I didn't think the $200 strike would cost you that much. How much more does a gold embellished strike cost than a regular silver one? Or how much difference for the color embellished strike?
--------------- Maybe Pam and/or Craig and Shawn could get a couple or a few slot managers to come to the next tournament or next trade session and talk to collecters and see the passion and maybe see the wide variety of strikes that were made and maybe one or two would catch "strike fever" and we could slowly get the strike program moving forward again.
---------------- Maybe we could start a fund thru the club to pay for someone from a few other casinoes from other states to fly out to Vegas for a convention to see the strike program at Palms or QQQQ or Planet Hollywood or Binions. A few bucks per club member could really help jumpstart a new wave of striking. I would be happy to donate one strike to a fund raising auction for that purpose.
ALSO, can you buy a strike from a different mint source now that you own the machines? There are a lot of mints out there that make tokens in precious metals and in common metals and even plastic. I sure want to find a way for the casinos to get back involved and love the idea of having a guy like Craig on our side helping us and working with other casinoes to try to get them started again. I am sure a lot of slot managers were not around in the late 90's when many casinoes had the machines.

ALSO, why doesn't Planet Hollywood come out with a $200 strike or any redcaps?[/big/
