Like others who've responded to "Tom" and his well-intentioned(?) efforts to broaden eBay sellers exposure, I don't get it either.
Logic tells me that a BUYER would very likely find eBay L-O-N-G before finding this bulletin board as a source of silver strikes for sale.
However, maybe "Tom" needs to read the eBay User Agreement, specifically paragraph 7, that seemingly prohibits the very action(s) he is taking. Because no seller has complained (yet) doesn't excuse the breach.
Seems to me that "Tom" may be jeopardizing his user privileges on eBay (if in fact he is a registered user) and cause the seller(s) to seek relief from his actions if they happen to disagree with his motives.
Not sure which agenda "Tom" is working from, but no matter how well meaning, it looks misguided.
