Re: WHAT UP STRIKERS?
Yes, I think many good people get into politics with lofty goals and soon find out they can get nothing done at all without party help and they end up playing the same games hoping to be somehow different but they all end up becoming a BOZO within a few, very few, years. That is how it works, for better or worse, and always has worked. But it is still the best system in the world and maybe someday someone will figure out how to make it better. I really like and respect Obama and think he is a very good man. I think he would make a good president in about 8 more years. I have always liked McCain because of his temper and his ability to work with the other side. George Bush , both of them, dislikes McCain a great deal. The Republican party disliked McCain a great deal 8 and 4 years ago. I have great worries about either vice predident nominee. Palin has little experience like Obama and ole Joe is a great guy but he can really make some bloopers and mistakes himself. It's very unlikely either would ever make it to be president anyway so I have to vote, like the rest of America, like always, for the best out of a group of two, neither one being 100% what we would each like best in our own way. It will be interesting and I am looking forward to the next 8 years either way. What am I gonna do? Move to Costa Rico? NO STRIKE MACHINES THERE AT ALL! YIKES. Just sit in the sun eating bananas and drinking those drinks with umbrellas and watching scantily clad women all day on the beach? Who wants that when I can sit here in Iowa and watch it SNOW. And SNOW. And SNOW.
