Re: eBay and Paypal
In Response To: Re: eBay and Paypal ()

I think most sellers will work with you. They want a sale. You should, however, email them a couple days ahead of time and ask if a check will be O.K. so you don't end up buying from someone who will only take Paypal. AND BY THE WAY, I never use my credit card with Paypal. My payments to sellers just comes striaght out of my checking account, Quick and easy as pie. You can also set it up to pay by an e-check which again coms out of your checking account but takes longer like a regular check. For high ticket items, like over a couple huundred dollars, the dealer is much better off if you do pay by e-check. That method only costs him around $5 as the direct way costs him like 2 1/2% which can easily cost much more than $5.00. That way is a nice way to help out the seller but it makes you wait a couple weeks for your e-check to clear. ANYWAY, you never have to have that horrible CREDIT involved in the transaction. SO join the 21st. century and get a Paypal account. Without it you will be left behind like some kind of Amish farmer.
