Days ago, I was asked by ebay to verify information about my acct....I did so....today my credit card called me about lots of activity on my credit card which I did not make...to make a long story short, credit card fraud is happening here to my card...I am not sure if it was the verification of my info to ebay or not, but after doing so things started happening....first my phone was not working right, it would ring once and then stop, then my paypal acct would not let me in to my acct because it said my pass word was not correct...the phone company said I called this morning to have my calls transfered to a mailbox....I did not do so and when I called back they then were alerted of a scam which was taking place here...then paypal alerted me that someone wanted to change my password, then my credit card company called with the news someone was trying to charge my acct and have items shipped to a different address then mine....all this happened after I verified info ebay asked of me...where they ebay or not??? It looked like ebay, but I do not know for sure...I thought I would address this on the message board in case others were being asked to do this also....well then beware...
