I agree with you wholeheartedly, but we'd better get used to it! I live here in Las Vegas and see this kind of crap going on all the time. Chip, token and silver strike markets have long been invaded by so-called "dealers" whose only objective is to make money! Most have no other major source of income. They get some of their merchandise at face value (or even less), then mark it up 500-1000% just for the almighty dollar it generates. They don't realize it but they're destroying the very thing they depend upon, collectors like you and me who are in it as a hobby, not as a source of income for them. I have thought many times of selling everything I've collected for 10 years or so but then I have a dealing with a fellow collector and my attitude changes and I continue collecting. The best thing we can do is what you did, voice our opinions and don't buy merchandise that is overpriced!!
