To remove tarnish,& finger prints,I would suggest going to a Coin Shop,& purchase a jar of EZest Jeweluster Coin cleaner. Use a Q tip, & gently rub the Silver Surface only. It will remove any Marks instantly. This product has been around for many years,& is the best I have found. It does not work well on brass. Wash quickly with water,& pat dry ,do not rub. Then let the Strike air dry.
