I played the strike machine at the Slots-A-Fun today and won ten strikes. There was a tourist named Willie who wanted to play so I got up and gave him the machine. I told Willie that you could exchange 20 of the new strikes for the 200 strike on display. I then noticed that the strikes I won were older strikes and not accepted for exchange. I called for the Slot Supervisor Bill Vance and he removed all the old strikes from the machine and went to the main cage to get a new fill. Willie said make them trade the strikes for the new ones. I told Willie not to worry that I had previous dealings with Bill Vance and that he would take care of it. No sooner had I told Willie this Bill Vance waved me to come to the main cage and they exchanged the strikes for the new ones. He did not need to substantiate (like Clyde at the Mirage) that I won these today.
If you ever play the strike machines at the Slots-a-fun don't hesitate to ask for Mr Vance as he is customer friendly and will find time to speak with you. Also the slot attendants and cage employees are friendly.
