It's a shame to hear that the strike machines are in such bad condition. As I understand it it is up to the slot manager of a casino. To see that the slot technician(repair person) keeps all the slot machines including the SS machines in good order working & looking. I have seen the casino house maids cleaning the outside in the past.

The present $10 newer type silver strike machines are ALL 3 coin $.25 cent machines. In the casino's that presently have SS machines. I have never seen or heard of the newer type silver strike machines ever being a 2 coin machine.

There was a $1.00 newer type silver strike machine that was a 1 coin machine in the past. It gave out a $40 silver strike. However this $1.00 machine is not in play anywhere presently.
