1. Anchor is now fully merged with IGT. That's who owns the racks, although thousands are in the hands of collectors. Some casinos protect them, others could care less. Casinos are not charges for the racks. Anchor was never thrilled about the loss, but they didn't do anything about it.
2. There are numerous color racks for $10 strikes. I have seen yellow and orange in addition to the blue. The reason for this is to keep the issues separated so the fill is sent to the correct machine. (Luxor had three banks of machines, each with different strikes.)
3. $10 Racks are also in existence in transparent green, with no Anchor label. I am told these were used for Buffalo Bills several years ago. These are sought after by some collectors and I saw some sold for $10 apiece at the 2001 convention.
4. The blue racks are finished because the company that makes the racks can no longer match that color. New racks are said to be a "teal green".
5. If the new prototype machine goes in to play, the puck will make racks a thing of the past.
