The machines at Flamingo and O'Shea's are to be returned to the floor shortly. Each has had new patriotic strikes approved, even though one bulletin board proprietor/price guide author says someone at Flamingo just forgot to cancel the approvals. Unfortunately, my information is that the old program of the 200s and trade 20 10s is dead, as is the Summer of Fun series. I don't know if the 200s were returned for destruction.
Regarding the person in charge of the program at Ballys/Paris/Flamingo/O'Shea's, I don't
know any personal details. However, the way PPE operates, no one has much of a future as a top executive. Along with Caesars, their empire is beginning to show some cracks in the foundation.
As for the Caesars 200s, all except two have been sent back for destruction. Two were released to high rollers. I'll trade a Harrahs Laughlin $7 Cactus for one. I'll even throw in a Stardust $10.
