As far as buying from someone on eBay with a "buy it now" or finding a dealer who has a price that is low, that's not the same thing, and that's fair game, they set the price and started the process.
If I have a token, and the other person says, hey I'll trade you an XYZ for that. It should be my responsibility to know what I am trading and what I am trading for. However if the person who made the offer, knows I'm not informed and is intentionally taking advantage of me, then there is an ethical question.
In other words the person starting the deal and making a play for a token, knows it is high value and is trying to snatch it from an unsuspecting owner.
If someone says, here I have this token and I want $12 for it, and the token is "valued" much higher, I don't know if this would be unethical to say, sure, I'll take it...
