I think they did a very nice report, but as for the 0001% and stuff, I'm lost.
Part of this test may have been responsible for the remarking of the SPTs so the .999 Silver was marked on the inside, not the ring.
Note the brass ring actually had gold plating at one time.
I'm probably never going to know, but it appears that in the early years, some casino had no markings, no silver, and just a brass ring around a stainless steel insert.
When I get my first book on Silver Stirkes, I bet it's in there?
