Just got back from San Diego last nite. I left at 8:00 a.m. and arrived home at 10:00 p.m. I went to pick up a friend Mel Rabin(former Manager of Tex Cobb, had him 17-0 all KO's when he sold him) at Scripps Hospital. Mel had heart surgery and the Doctors said he would live another 5-7 years which is good as the Doctor here in Vegas told him his heart was shot and would live only one or two months.
This doctor in San Diego Dr. Tom Ahern is a wonderful Doctor who cares more about his patients than just making money. His wife even came to visit Mel for a hour and brought him some cookies she made. Anyone in the San Diego area who has heart problems should consider Dr Ahern. He will certainly do his best and gives all the time needed attending his patients.
