During the month of September, The Orleans will be giving out .999 silver, hand-painted coins, in four different sizes, for certain jackpots on their slot machines.

These coins are NOT Silver Strikes. I saw the 1 pound (Troy) coin, but not up close. It sure looked nice. In addition to the pounder there are 6, 3 and 2 oz. coins. The pounder looks like the cartoon version on the flyer, where the gator and and flag are painted red, white and blue.

I sure hope my wife can win some!
