Re: A clad is a soup-en-ear coin 4 tourest

Hey guys this one ain't tuff. Noone has to labelwhat or where I collect. If I collect Buffalo chips I can always hope there is some intrinsic value in shinola (lol). And once again davo is right on the money as far as dan watching what he says when he is vp of the club. Is he trying to become another Sara P. Oh wait--unfortunately in Louisiana they do have bridges to nowhere. When I started collecting in 2000 I had between 25 and 50 silver strikes and I thot they were neat. When silver went above $14 I took the hobby more seriously and increased my inventory 50 fold. But like art or coins if your gonna collect em you should definitely enjoy them and if they increase in value all the better.

However with the clads IF I was starting today I would be equally inclined to collect chips or other casino paraphanelia. This will defitely hurt the hobby and hopefully casino managers will see the benefit of going to $20 or $40 as they did w/ the $7 strikes. I will continue to play, collect and support the club as my personal interest is in the $200 strikes which until colorized were works of art. To each his own.
