I think Dan is intitled to his opinion. Just because he is presently a VP doesn't mean he can't have a personal opinion. I personally started collecting because it was something fun to do and I liked the idea of having "something" to show for my trips to Nevada besides an empty pocket. I have a safe full of these things and I have never looked at them as an investment. Spending $15 to $20 for one of these silver strikes would rate as an investment like buying beer, drinking same, and recycling the empty cans. The "return" may be better with the beer. I think Dan has done a good job as VP and representing the club. A job I think he is going to let someone else do next year. Having a strong "opinion" is not the same as trying to tell someone else how to collect.
