Dan Hangriff, I think that this is a terrible response for the 2nd V.P. of our club to take. Where were all of the club members and "YOU" as our V.P. when this started to take place. How many of the 600 (+/-) members of our club actually expressed their opinions, just a hand full who had the guts to do it, and you want to attack me because I expressed my opinion about the worthless clad strikes along with approx. 78% who voted against clad strikes on this issue when Davo asked the question. I have been collecting Silver Strikes since 1998 and didn't join the Silver Strikers Club until 2003, I got along very well collecting on my own without being a club member! This is my way of collecting, I only collect .999 Fine Silver Strikes that are going to retain some value. Dan, I have approx. $100,000.00 invested in my Silver Strike collection between $7's, $10's, $20's, $28's, $40's, and $200's and as a coin collector and a Silver Strike collector this is my way of investing my money! There isn't any member who can say that I traded my dups with them, I have held on to all of my dups and every Silver Strike I have, I purchased, either at the Convention, Ebay, Jackpot Auctions or off of a fellow club members website! Yes Dan, I am a SILVER STRIKE COLLECTOR not a CLAD STRIKE COLLECTOR and the name of our club is The Silver Strikers Club, not the Clad Strikers Club! Yes, if you feel that I am taking my bat and ball and running home then so be it, but don't you dare tell me how I should spend my money or criticize me for voicing my opinion about clad strikes or what I want to collect! Just remember, I am a member of this club because this was my choice and if you and the other officers of this club don't want me or others in the club because we live in America and voice our opinion then just say so and I will not renew my membership in May!!! THAT IS MY TWO CENTS WORTH!
