Jim, once they go to HSP and see what the cost is that they will pay for the minting of an HSP strike and see what their profit margin is going to be, I will guarantee you that they will never go back to .999 Fine Silver. All you have to do is to go on Ebay or Jackpot and see what the Cruise Ship HSP strikes are selling for and that should be an indication what will take place in the strike collecting after market! Like I said in my earlier post, all they have to do is change the TEN to TWENTY (add (3) letters) on the strike and keep them .999 Fine Silver and that should end this whole debate. I feel that the Casino's are not even looking in that direction, keep in mind, it is their bottom line that they are looking at, not us as collectors or sellers! First of all, in the beginning the Casino's stated that they were only going to change the $10 strikes to HSP and keep the Red Caps (mintage of 500) and $200's (mintage of 148) .999 Fine Silver, and it sure didn't take long for that to change!!
