You really should do a little research into copyright laws and the Berne Convention. VEGASPLAYER happens to be 100% correct.
***I believe you have the right to copy non-copyright photos and information. It is beyond me why someone take issue with someone using their picture. They do not own exclusive rights to any particular strike.***
Why would anyone take exception with having their silver strike catalog copied and posted on the internet free for everyone to see?
Using the image of an item you have for sale is not the point (catalogs and newspaper advertisements do not pay Disney when a Mickey Mouse doll is shown to be for sale). It's using someone else's image to sell your item that is the violation.
I do not own the rights to a butterfly resting on a leaf, but I would own the copyright to the photo if I took a picture of the butterfly on a leaf.
The bottomline is if someone takes something, as a whole, which does not belong to them and tries to pass it off as their own it is considered theft. Even if they are not profiting from the material. This includes creating a fan website for your favorite TV show or movie without the direct permission of the copyright holder(s).
