I don't see any real difference in ebay's policy and Dan's action. Is there any real distinction between "permanent" (Dan) and "indefinite" (ebay)? None of any substance, since I'm sure Richard could reapply to Jackpot and Dan might let him back in, just as Pete Rose can reapply to Major League Baseball. His suspension is permanent but he is permitted to reapply. Not that the odds are in his favor,but the possibility exists. Ebay leaves the door open for an application for reinstatement.
