Why didn't you put a reserve on your auction? Did you feel as I do that it is just a legal way of shill bidding on your own auction? I agree that Richard is wrong for shill bidding, but I also can't see how someone can consider it such a serious offense and then put up there own auction with a reserve. If I put up two identical auctions and I put a reserve of $60 on one and I have a username place a proxy of $60 on the other, basically I have done the same thing. Only one is considered highly objectionable by some and the other is considered proper. I don't put reserves on my auctions and I don't shill bid on my auctions and I am not going to justify one and condemn the other.
