There is a world of difference in shill bidding and putting a reserve on an auction. If you don't want to take less than a certain amount for an item, then put a reserve on it. That's the purpose of a reserve.... to protect the seller. I will always tell a bidder what my reserve is if he asks. I've found most sellers to be this way.
