Correct, the machine is gone.
Ouch and I was just about ready to play for a complete set.
Gold Country had a different manager in 96-97 and he liked the 50c chips in the 21 tables. Next time I visited, he was gone and so were the 50c BJ chips.
I'm not sure if he was there when the machine went in, but there were four different strikes at that time. Two years later the second set came out, which I think are the four current designs with variations.
Too bad they removed the machine, I had good luck on it and it was fun. I just took the time to call LD and asked, the lady said, she was very sorry, but they took it out. So make that a second on the information that the machine has been removed from Gold Country.
That leaves Stockmen's with their one design, kind of boring design, the only machine left in Elko. And by the way, it's not strikes, but the annual, only LE issued in Elko, Cowboy Poetry from Red Lion has also been discontinued.
There's more news of what's not in Elko than what is. lol
Here's a digital picture, instead of a scan. It shows the colors of the copper ring better. (or at least what I think is a copper ring)
