I received some emails, so I should add something. I'm the only one who is saying the frosted is copper and the shiny is brass. It's possible they are the same. Just my opinion that one is more reddish. The tarnished brass is more yellow.
Either way, it's interesting learning about the different mint marks and compositions.
Why are there "G" and "LM" of the same series, in the only machine in the casino?
I'm not selling them. I collect Elko in general. Chips, dice, postcards, ashtrays, keno tickets, coin buckets...
I won't be there again until the Fall and may choose Reno instead since we haven't been there since 1990. But if I make a trip to Elko, I will stock up on strikes for the people who want them.
I should be able to start them at $11 on eBay, with shipping included. But that's not until Oct or Nov. so I'm way ahead of myself.
