OK here is some "research" on the word "less". Webster's denotes it as meaning something to a smaller extent or lower in importance. An example would be less we have a smaller memory, smaller significance or vague recollection of the events of 9-11-01! (Less We Forget) Now in the "GOOD BOOK" "My" Creator uses the word 6 times and in each example uses it in the same "context" that Webster defines it. Wonder where Webster got his ideas? For "me" at least that is the "bottom" line and clearly shows that the word "less" has been correctly utilized on this silver strike. Don't you just love it when "HE" gets involved!
