In all due respect, I do NOT have a problem with you or anyone selling Silver Strikes. It can be done OFF of the Message Board in connection with "WANTED/TRADE" posts, and avoid all of the negative messages that have been occurring. There are loads of other venues on the internet for the collectors to go to in order to buy strikes not just your's or other's on this message board.

Anyone looking for a particular strike can post a message and say "if you have one e-mail me". Simplicity at its best. Now any type of transaction can take place between the parties either a trade of token(s) or a monetary exchange.

Furthermore, I do NOT believe that this message board will be the FIRST internet stop or place a new person on the internet will find when looking for Silver Strikes. Doing a search on Yahoo using the word "Silver Strikes" or "Silver Strike" will NOT provide a direct link here. However, it does bring up a lot of sites selling strikes AND from those sites links to us here.

Currently, we've LOST a MAJOR web site's direct link to OUR message board here due to the current tide of the messages. Links from other collectors web sites are the current best way for collectors to find us. And we're starting to loose those.

I ask you which is MORE inportant? Bringing the collectors to us to find out information on the hobby and chapter or to sell them Silver Strikes?

A seller can always place an advertisement in the Chapter Newsletter and reach far MORE collectors since there are many who are not connected to the internet.

This Offical Chapter message board was opened to the idea that selling would be permitted as long as the situation remained civil. Two other Offical Club and Chapter message boards do NOT permit FOR SALE items on their boards and their boards have been around MUCH longer than this one.

This message board belongs to the Silver Striker's Chapter and ALL it's members and you should have a voice in how it is run.

My suggestion to everyone is to send the Executive Board a message regarding it use.

Even posting here can get their attention as I am sure they occationally read the messages.

Richard, really? Sour Pusses? How can anyone be called a "Sour Puss", just because they believe that selling of silver strikes on this message board has become detremental for it.

P.S. I am the major one responsible for the current set of usage policy guidlines as I sent the Board initial recommendations and they approved them. As you can see I am having my mind changed in a MAJOR way.
