Well, I decided to play a little at my least favorite of all strike places. The Palms... I just cannot catch a break there. Anyway, I stepped up to the triple line machine and put in a $20 and on the first spin I hit a double bar for two strikes! Well I thought maybe I can recoup some losses there. Nothing after that so I threw in another $20 and absolutly nothing! So once again I walk away from the Palms with $10 strikes that cost me $20!!! hehe. Anyway, no reason to post that, just had to whine!

Anyway, does anyone know how many red caps The Palms puts in their machines? I would assume I should be able to see at least one in the "tubes" once in a while, being as you can see 3 of the existing tubes while it is sitting there. I realise I will not be able to know that it will go to that tube with a payout but I have not seen a single one in either of thier machines.

I have a friend who works at Binions and he said they put a red cap in with every ten coins. Actually I think he meant every nine coins, but whatever. That seems like a good way to sort-of randomize them in these new type of machines. I have not made it up there since they put the machines back in so I have not seen it yet though.

Anyone seen any like this or am I thinking wrong.
