Being that Ebay is not selling the item, they are only providing an advertising service, they can tell you that if you don't like their rules for advertising on their site, you should advertise somewhere else ( check the rules and guidelines for selling on ebay that you agreed to when you started your seller account). They do not have the right to say what you will accept as payment, being they do not own the item you are selling. Being that Paypal is owned by Ebay, they must feel that they are losing too much money from all the money order and check transactions. I think they will find out that they will lose alot more money, by going to paypal only, and may be subject to legal action by all current members and possibly the government's monoply laws. It will be interesting to see the outcome, and if you have stock in Ebay, I would suggest selling it!
