Re: mint update
The silverplate/clad house strike will be all silverplate and the chasers will be the .999 silver strike as we know it. The reason being is to get Nevada Gaming approval. There has to be a difference in the tokens, if not anyone can take a house clad strike strike and put it in a red cap and pass it off as a silver strike to people who are not as knowledgeable as most collectors.
The casinos wants to $200 to remain the same and that way we hope not to lose any $200 collectors but maybe pick up some new collectors. They are working hard on getting and keeping the gold on the $200.
Sunshine hopes to open back up in Henderson and supply Nevada and California with items needed for those areas which will help with production time, cost, delivery and service.
Time will tell when and what will be the final product. Believe me the Four Queens, Palms, Sam's Town and Binions know what we want and they are trying very hard to keep as much of what we want as possible. Remember all of this involves the mint, Gaming, the Casinos, the collectors and the tourist. Its hard to make everyone happy in each of your and their wants. Keep a positive attitude and hope for the best.
