Craig - What Jeff says it what a lot of other strikers think, if the plan you are coming up with goes into play I belive the number of players will drop and the remaining ones for the most part will play to win a red cap and cash in the all plated strikes ( to me they would just look like a casino token which I don't collect ), like Jeff I could live with a tempory switching to silver plated centers until costs come down if it brings more casino's back to the program but then what about the issue with IGT and them saying they won't make anymore strike machines, how many of the casino's who dropped the program retained their strike machine in the basement ?. What I would like to see is a machine like Harrah's/Harveys and one other I belive had and that was a $10/$40, the hold percentage could be changed to favor the club and I bet you would get a lot of play.
One other thing, when I come to play I play first in a casino with a strike machine and spend time playing more than just the strike machine and my wife also comes along and plays regular slots so you are making more money from me than a club without a strike program.
