What I don't get is how eBay can enforce this? If I have an auction, and you win and email me to say you would like to send a check, and I say okay, how can eBay possibly police that? You could mail me a check and then I could mark it paid via credit card, since I have my own processor, how do they know you didn't just call me on the phone and give me a credit card number? Or what if I just ignored the auction completely and never marked it paid? Is eBay going to jump in and say "hey you, why didn't you mark that auction paid yet?". I guess they just want to make it harder to accept checks, but thinking it through, I don't know how they can tell anyone that they can't take any kind of payment they want. They said check or money order can be used for pickups. So I guess a bunch of people will be flying to Hawaii for their "pick ups"...LOL.
Walt is right though, there is no other auction site out there that can generate the worldwide exposure you get from eBay, and there probably never will be...
