Jeff, I agree with your comment that 99% of the uninformed puplic do not know what a Silver strike is let alone the silver content.However I do believe that a majority of those assume they are a full troy oz of Silver.I do a great deal of my collecting at coin and pawn shops up here in Canada where 95% are sold as one oz rounds with gold plated rim.It seems at any given time there is always a seller on Ebay with a "full 1 oz of silver" in there discription when selling there strike in categoreys other than strikes like coins and silver bullion.I know that with the recent surge in silver prices a great deal of strikes have been turned in to the shops here.As a smaller collector I will be disappointed to see the move to HSP and I think the words Silver Strike will be a bit misleading / unfair play without the .999 fine unless the content(or lack of) is clearly marked on the machines.Which in turn will probably lead to less play from the average John Q .I will continue to play the machines on my 2-3 annual trips to Vegas though if it helps the program continue.
