I’ve also wondered about the number of collectors of the $200’s and your reasoning sounds good. To keep the hobby going, it’s probably important to keep the club active and growing. My brother is number 893. I joined soon after him and I am # 940. Someone posted something recently and said he had just joined and was #1140. So, 200 people have joined since I did and that was only a couple years ago. Of course, I don’t know how many with lower numbers renew every year. Another thing, to which you alluded in your post, is I think it would be helpful if more casinos had the machines again. (That’s probably a “well, Duh? Statement but my daughters would say I’m known for them.)
Anyway, it will be interesting to see what happens.
