or # 3.....He has no clue ?
or # 4 he was fishing for 1 buyer who might go for his deal ?
Wait and see if he relist's them and at what price, That might answer the ??????
If he has no clue, a simple search of completed auctions on E-bay will usually give you some idea if your in the ballpark.....And he did list them during E-bay's 25 cent fixed price listing deal so it did not cost him too much to give it a try, if he was just fishing.....
