I leave my $200's in the original capsules. I have put all my $10's in airtights only because I like the look of them versus old, scratched and chipped capsules. Your post started my mind wondering why toning is *bad* for a silver strike, but desired and appreciated with coins. There is nothing more beautiful than a nicely toned Morgan Dollar. I realize that .999 silver tones different than coin silver, but why is toning frowned upon in the silver strike world?
