This makes it seem like the mint is the one that owns the Silver Strike program. How does the cost of a strike have any effect on the mint? I thought the casino's bought the strikes from the mint, so whether it's $10 a strike or $40 to make a strike, isn't the mint covered because that's what they charge the Casinos? I was under the impression that the casinos ordered strikes and the mint produced what they ordered. This is a whole new picture of events if the mint is the one who has to go to gaming to get approval to change a strike? So do mints get a piece of the slot action? Very interesting stuff. It makes it sound like the Mint is the one we need to get on to get strikes back in the casinos if they control everything. I've never heard that slant on things before, am I understanding you correctly?
